Verdes Castros is a mature, powerful and fresh red, which makes it the ideal choice for a couple’s dinner with someone special.
The grapes with which it is made come from vines planted in glass, from small old vines in which mechanization is minimal, so they require meticulous manual care. The ripe and healthy clusters, sectioned in the vineyard and cellar, are cold macerated and fermented in a tank at a controlled temperature. After gentle bleeding and pressing, the wine is obtained which, at the end of malolactic fermentation, rests for a few months in storage until it is bottled.
