We have been awarded the IFS Superior Level of certification following the audit we passed a few weeks ago. Only companies that achieve a score of more than 95% achieve this level.
This food safety standard, which is recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), accredits compliance with quality and food safety standards for processed products.
Since 2019, the year of inauguration of our new facilities, we maintained the basic level until this year we managed to improve the seal to a higher rank, thus reinforcing the objective of continuous improvement of processes and products.
In addition to this achievement, Mr. Francisco Conde, Vice-president and Regional Minister of Economy, Enterprise and Innovation, made an assessment during his visit to our headquarters in Chantada on 5 February, where he highlighted Vinigalicia as an example of a Galician company in terms of innovation and commitment to internationalisation, despite the current health context.
